LEAP exists to help patients and families navigate the treatment process with knowledge, support, and confidence. Reach O&P is proud to be the only Ossur-certified provider in Southeastern Virginia approved to offer the Direct Socket solution to our patients. The Direct Socket method is a new way of fabricating a prosthetic socket directly onto the residual limb of the patient, enabling delivery of the socket in a single visit.

Meet Ryan
Ryan, 38, is from Chesapeake and has a loving wife and two beautiful kids.
Ryan became a below-knee amputee in 2017 following a rare motorcycle-to-motorcycle accident. After about 4.5 months of therapy, Ryan was able to return to work onboard Navy ships and submarines.
Ryan is also an avid sports enthusiast including: surfing, motocross, Crossfit/working out, snowboarding and wakeboarding. He has a hydraulic prostheses for work, a carbon-fiber prostheses for daily use and a Biodapt Versa 2 for more versatile sports.
